Avril Lavigne was once the poster child for punk fashion. But since marrying Nickelback front man, Chad Kroeger, back in July, the singer seems to be changing up her look. The newlyweds hit the red carpet hand in hand on Monday at the 10th Huading Awards in Macau, China, and the Canadian songstress seems to have traded in her rocker style for a more polished look.
Appearing every bit the grown up, the "Here's to Never Growing Up" singer clearly isn't taking her own advice. Avril rocked a black-and-white Brian Rennie for Basler floor-length gown with a peplum waist that showed off her enviable curves. She ditched the red eye shadow that she sported in her music video for "Rock N Roll" for a more natural look. She also swept her long, wavy blond locks over one shoulder, pulling off a classic Hollywood 'do with ease.
But her glam makeover didn't last long. Avril took to the stage later in the evening to perform and wore black from head to toe, including a T-shirt, pleated skirt, studded belt, and fishnet stockings.
